The collection features artists working with traditional handicraft methods across Europe

Based in Switzerland, the Michelangelo Foundation launched its large-scale online project Homo Faber Guide in 2020 with a view to providing a platform to handicraft artists working in various European countries. The website facilitates filtering designers by country, activity and other criteria, and presents them through a short interview and numerous photos; moreover, their contact details are also disclosed. The practical collection may come useful for curators, manufacturers and even travellers keen on design. Hungarian goodwill ambassador for the project is Judit Osvárt, curator of Budapest Design Week and member of the Hungarian Design Council.
