40x40 is an exhibition that collects the projects of leading international designers who won A’Design Award this year. The exhibition presents 40 designers’ winner works from 40 countries. All of the Hungarian winners are also exhibited to highlight their success.

After appearing in Tate Modern in London, young French-Hungarian visual artist Dániel Labrosse returns to Budapest to present his new material using AR (augmented reality). He uses multiple techniques in his thematically connected colourful illustrations: painting, computer graphics and traditional animation are combined with augmented reality, in which he partners with Etentuk Udeme.
Artmagazin celebrates issue number 100, so this night they screen all kinds of spectacular and creative items, where the meeting of art and design is a great source of joy to us. Starting from Bowie’s stage costume to coffee sets by star designers of Bauhaus we go around the world with 100 images, through various eras, styles, and media. DekoRatio launches its new Design Academy for the occasion of the Design Week, which is set to be continued all through the year. The series of presentations will be commenced with five opening events, which include city branding with Miklós Kiss, a presentation about design education at university, assessment of interested visitors’ works will be available, and even it will be revealed whether customers always choose the best version.
Within the framework of a series connected to the 12.madeinhungary+5.MeeD Design Without Borders exhibition, this exhibition presents works by Signe Hytte and Kristina Kjær, two Danish designers, Daniella Kóos, this year’s Design Without Borders prize-winner, interior designer Zsófia Kókai, and textile designer Zsófia Zámori. Opening speech will be delivered by Zsófia Csomay architect.
H6 is group of six young jewelry designers. Six different relationships with jewelry, six different ways of thinking. One of them re-imagines the concept of jewelry with light, dance and space. Some of them give new meaning to how jewelry is worn by finding alternative uses for materials. Some are able to demonstrate the echelons of society with one jewelry collection. Their works differ but their common goal is to tell a story with jewelry. Be part of their story!
