What happens if socially sensitive designers meet autism? The conceptual bag collection from Autistic Art and Müskinn cooperation has been inspired by the everyday life of people living with autism in their specific homes, and their special systems. The collection is being presented in an exhibition and a pop up store.

Studio of Young Designers Association (SYDA) celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. The group provides opportunities for arts and craft newcomers, and helps to integrate them to the cultural and artistic life by supporting their early works. With more than 300 current members, FISE’s actual exhibition is not merely a presentation of beautiful objects, but also reflects the reaction by young artists to the challenges of Hungarian design.

Freak furniture is not real furniture: they are part of a special show. Anthropomorphic chairs, armchairs, objet trouvé items in the remastered „Black Lodge” of Twin Peaks, with rough forms, dark colours and secrets – interpreted by the language of design.
H6 is group of six young jewelry designers. Six different relationships with jewelry, six different ways of thinking. One of them re-imagines the concept of jewelry with light, dance and space. Some of them give new meaning to how jewelry is worn by finding alternative uses for materials. Some are able to demonstrate the echelons of society with one jewelry collection. But why are some societies happier than others? The Happy Danes exhibition, made by the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen, presents the answer to the question. A lecture by Michael Birkjær, analyst of the Happiness Research Institute, Copenhagen will also take place at the opening.
In the focus of the museum is an iconic lamp, early Bauhaus masterwork of Wilhelm Wagenfeld. This 1924 lamp is reflected through the lenses of prominent contemporary artists. Local context presented via lamp designs commissioned by the one time owner of Kiscell, furniture manufacturer Miksa Schmidt.
