The Cellux Group has pursued design, and has organised workshops ondesign methodology and creative sessions since 2006. During Budapest Design Week, little ones and adults visiting the studio may peek into the everyday work of the group, while the audience is welcome to participate in thematic programmes on two Sundays.

Cuatro Tiempos is an aesthetic analysis on the perception of time in 4 compositions. Kristi Kuusk’s presentation introduces new perspectives about textile futures. Budapest’s new design hotspot launches with a design swing creating workshop. The results of the workshop will be exhibited, and visitors are welcome to place there bids on the designer swings.
H6 is group of six young jewelry designers. Six different relationships with jewelry, six different ways of thinking. One of them re-imagines the concept of jewelry with light, dance and space. Some of them give new meaning to how jewelry is worn by finding alternative uses for materials. Some are able to demonstrate the echelons of society with one jewelry collection. A new generation start-up enterprise, iamart Hungarian Cement Tile Manufacture offers a quick look into the knacks of manufacturing unique mosaic tiles and terrazzo. On your visit to the factory, you can glance at the everyday life of the busy manufacture, while at workshops you can design and craft your own individual cement tile.
VITRIN aims to educate and inspire its design-conscious audience. As part of their pop up showroom, Menu – the ambassador of Danish design – has been invited to be their kind guest. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase Menu’s design collections and also to learn about their interpretation of Modernism based on simple and classical designs.
Noha Studio is organising a workshop, exhibition, fair and roundtable discussion based on the topics of gastronomy and design. During this weekend, visitors can get an insight of the expectations in contemporary gastronomy, different techniques, materials, recent glazes and the educational program of the studio.
